After graduating from Georgian Court University in New Jersey, with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology/Elementary Education with Special Education, I used my dual certification to become a substitute teacher in elementary and middle schools. I am passionate about teaching math, English, science, and social studies. My goals are to instill an enthusiasm for learning in my students and differentiate lessons based on their needs. Over the past few years, I've worked with and observed students who came from diverse backgrounds.I make lessons interesting and engaging using various strategies and technologies. Academics are a major part of education but I also believe there are social and emotional components to learning. I provide my students with any opportunity to become engaged in the learning process. Reading, talking to different people, and doing creative things fill my time outside the classroom or tutoring.
